Graduating Students Exhibition

Pratt Shows will display a composite of elements from a select group of students’ Capstone Project presentations. The Capstone Project is a culmination of the construction management student’s education at Pratt Institute. During the course of the semester, students prepare a written proposal based on a set of actual construction documents for a real project. Issues to be addressed include but are not limited to the following: project approach, project team, project scope, project schedule, project cost estimate, value engineering proposals, site logistics, site safety, quality assurance and quality control, approach to construction technology including but not limited to building information management, and sustainable design approach.

Students are required to provide a bound written submission and an oral presentation with a PowerPoint slide show to a jury of construction industry professionals for both midterm and final reviews.

Pratt Shows: Design is the Institute’s annual exhibition of design work by exceptional seniors and postgraduates from the Schools of Design, Architecture, and Art. The exhibition provides an opportunity to see a diverse range of what’s next in:
