Graduating Students Exhibition

This studio looks in depth at the issues facing coastal communities within a changing climate, specifically the north shore of Staten Island. The studio has the advantage of occurring simultaneously with real-world conditions while working for and alongside several community organizations.
With its integrated team approach, the studio produces multidisciplinary design proposals that create effective and innovative flood protection measures while being sensitive to the community and providing visionary (year 2100) and actionable recommendations for a better social and economic fabric within the face of climate change.

Sponsored by the Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery
